I have never known a player with a name that was so opposite to his nature. I can tell you he was in no way gentle. There is no comparison in todays football, he would have made even Duncan Ferguson squeal like a girl.

James was off to Juve last week and now that is off.
Now we are back on. I hope this isn't the case. Not another Colombian who will be surplus and ridiculous fee to boot.

    Emenalo please.

Not keen on Luiz back but would be happy with Alonso.

yeah.. Luiz stories getting momentum. Looks like we may be resigning him for fraction of what we sold him for.

Will be an upgrade over Cahill, but not going to solve our Defensive issues completely.

You have obviously forgotten about Sevilla destroying Liverpool in the EL final in May. Then there's Athletic Bilbao who are always competing at the upper end of the table and often do well in Europe. So La Liga is not that poor, just that the top three in La Liga are three of the four best teams in the world at present. Maybe Juve, PSG and Manchester City will have grounds to oppose those sentiments of mine in the near future.

7/10 is technically a fraction, but still quite a large one. No one will ever know why you got so much for him, but £30+m that is being quoted is still a lot of money from your budget. I assume even you lot have a budget?

Burnley destroyed Liverpool last week with 19% possession, so thats hardly a feat.

The difference being that Sevilla actually took possession of the ball, whereas Burnley didn't. How strong Sevilla are this season after a summer of departures, we wait and see but hopefully they can reach the last 16 of the CL, and challenge the top 3 by winning some of those encounters.

Always liked Luiz. Seems a great lad and always tried hard. Plus scorer of a few worldies in his time.

Yes he was prone to a mistake and we had to sell for the silly 50m at the time. But 30m odd being quoted in today's market would surely be a decent bit of business given our need in this area. He knows the club and the league so should fit straight in. Plus he can play in other positions so adds versatility.

I wouldn't mind him to be honest.
I liked the guy a lot as a personality, and he is great on the ball and at set pieces.
If we can get him back for arounf £30m I would take him

    This!!
Versatile & he will be more of a Conte Player. Won't be surprised and be glad.
I was on the fence, not anymore especially for the price; 30M is peanuts in today's market.
