Stop acting like a ****ing clown. Playing to the crowd, back slapping, shaking hands with the the opposition players. you're acting like a twat. That GK in the second half after all the twatting about and then to hit a scudder at waist height!! FFS Same in the first half too. Piss poor couple of punches too. A ****ing appalling display. Sort yourself out.
yeah! let's go back to 12-goal per game marshall, standing looking dejected for 97 minutes each match.
I thought he was decent in fairness. Made a couple of outstanding saves, as his misdemeanours didn't result in a goal, I can forgive him his gamesmanship. Nothing he could have done with the late Swansea headed goal, that was down to piss poor marking. That first save with his feet from Routledge was outstanding, pure and simple, as good a save as any match winning goal. The Siggurdson free kick save. He earnt the right to a bit of bravado after these saves.
He's the best we have at the Club at the minute .. he produces terrific saves but still has a blunder in him but the defence seem to have more confidence in him then Marshall .. says it all really.
In fairness GLP he did Jak did kick it straight to him, typical of him ridiculous to sublime in 5 seconds.
He made two great saves, otherwise we'd have been up **** creek. He fists like Julien Clary - Might be desirable if you're Norman Lamont but we don't want a red box thank you very much. His gay, fluttery little hand deflection wot passed as a save was perhaps the worst case of limp wristedness since Mr Humphries rushed to measure a cliched 70s hunk's inside leg. With hilarious, stereotypical results.
A goalie has to be mental. The more mental the better. Jak is mental. And passionate. I hope he carries on the way he has been, he's a nutter, and a legend, and, most important, he cares.
I haven't seen anything to suggest Marshall should come in at the moment. I'm more concerned about N'Diayes drop off in form.
Yeah I think that's a bit concerning too. I remember thinking after the Liverpool game, in which he was immense, that he struck me as that sort of enforcer type player who can look great in games like that, but in games like today can look a bit rubbish due to being limited on the ball. A bit like Livermore and Meyler, I think.
anyone would panic with Maguire in front of them - I've never seen anyone pass it to the opposition more than he did today - must have been taking coaching lessons off Meyler
I thought N'Diaye was back to his best yesterday after a few poor games, was quite dominant on the ball and used his strength well. Passing perhaps wasn't quite up to his display against Liverpool, but a lot of players will be full of adrenaline on debut. Hope he gets back up to it but don't think it's as concerning as things looked after last week. As for Jak, I love his antics, he concedes far less than Marshall so long may they continue.
I think this is it in a nutshell, he's far from perfect but the best we have. Interesting that we have this thread within a week of many on here voting for him as Premier League PotM.
