Technology's catching up with you ! I just hope it will stop all the cheating ( and not just by the players ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38245174
The game has survived over 100 years on bad decisions, leave the game alone. Thankfully we support lower league football, so the pennies of technology may not stretch to our division. As for the Prem it can go suck in hell.
And i certainly accept all those arguments, the what could have been's. Trouble is where my angle on it comes from (no pun intended) is that 20 years down the line you would not still be talking about those events. Now you may debate that we would be debating surviving instead, however, we won a Championship a few seasons back and hardly a mention of it now. It's the controversy that stay's in people's minds. A bit like social media where it will always feed on negativity, far outweighing positivity. We will strive for perfection and kill the game in the same way we killed formula one, then the only thing that keeps it alive is the marketing by the money men, you lose the passion, you lose the emotions of we was robbed. Even kids today prefer to play on artificial services, there is and was nothing wrong in growing up in a mud bath, let's not clone their future but keep it free.
Do not agree with it, never have and never will. Tradition should be maintained and decisions have to be split second instant as they have been for over 100 years and the game has worked fine. The what ifs, is part of football, and we woz robbed. How many camera angles does the ref have, how much time we he be allowed to view them all, the camera never lies is well bull. I'm sure teams are denied various opportunities other than inside the box, so where will this all end - well quite simply it will not, the game will be mutated in to a game of perfection to suit the money men and the middle classes.
