Twenty years ago today the country was stunned when the Grand National was postponed for safety reasons. Everywhere except Fulham that is. Because on 5th April 1997 Rodney "Who Scored at Carlisle" McAree guaranteed promotion for Mickey Adam's team. The following summer MAF took over the Club and 4 years later we were in the Premiership.
