I'm not sure if it's something I have done but every so often the stories on the HDM website go narrow and unreadable. I thought it might be to do with my ad blocker so I disabled it but no change. Is anyone else getting this (and can anyone recommend a good free ad blocker)

If it's on your phone, you can use the reader view (the lines near the address bar) and it blocks all the ads and makes it clear to read.

Could be that the format of the web page isn't suited? Went on the same link on mine and it's okay. If you don't encounter this on any other website, assume it's them, those websites are ad riddled and pretty ****e.

It's not you. It's done bizarre things for me too on my iPad, my work laptop and my home computer. It's a shockingly designed template that a lot of local news sites use, made worse by the implementation of all the adverts. It's unusable if you don't have any form of ad-blocker.

Given the article's about what seems like suicidal driving and your favourites are for razors, scaffold builders and a site about emotional well being...is there anything else you'd like to talk about while you're among friends?

I guess at one time they employed journalists, now they just seem to compile Top 10 lists of everything.
