I think the price of football these days is absolutely ridiculous, and in short, no, watching town is not good value for money. If you're going to paying £30 MINIMUM for a ticket, then you at least want to be entertained. If you start factoring in the "accessories", ie, food, drink, programme, travel etc, then you won't get any change out of a £100 note - all for two hours of mind numbingly boring football. I'd rather spend the money on watching my local non-league team, who show a lot more passion, you can have a laugh on the terraces, a few beers in the ground AND if they win you can treat yourself to a brass at the end of the night to celebrate.
Definitely not value for money. The amount of times I've been to PR and felt robbed! Very expensive for what you get, especially with Ipswich. Main reason I haven't been this season My wife recently went to the races at Great Leigh's. £25 inc meal, all you can eat, and had a great time. That's good value.
