My fellow Southampton fans seem to think it is, can you please correct them concerning your United friends.
Contrary to popular belief it's in greater Manchester and has a Manchester postcode Always glad to help
Cheers ta, they think Greater Manchester IS Manchester and can not understand that if you are outside the boundary of Manchester you are actually outside the boundary of Manchester.
That's fair logic. Although 'Manchester United' contains the word 'Manchester' for a reason. I don't see why, using your logic, 'Manchester City' shouldn't have 'Council Estate' included in their name. After all, Manchester City is situated around knife crime, and leece from the council.
I believe SAFC supporters going to old trafford tommorow will do the 'poznan' again even if we are 5-0 down! good luck to Man city tommorow and beat them up the road for us!.
If you go off the postcode then yes it is in Manchester. However what I go off is where they pay rates to which is Trafford Brough Council, and not Manchester City Council, so therefore they are not based in Manchester.
It is not inner city but it old trafford (the area) is still pretty much regarded as part of Manchester.
