    I told you! <laugh>

Really enjoyable game today. Scored a couple of lovely goals, the 2nd was absolute class.

Thought Whits showed both why we shouldn't be afraid to let him and go and why we should keep him if the price is right. He'd be an excellent squad player if he'll accept squad player wages.

We'll struggle to keep Zohore in the summer, hopefully the club will show some ambition and make/persuade him to stay. He's a £10m player + if we have to sell though <ok>

Town's goal should never have stood.

Vital save by McGregor early doors.

    City should have had 4-5.

Bamba, Zahore, Hoilett, the 2 full backs & Harris excellent.

Whittingham's best days are behind him.

Apart from some scrambles towards the end, a very enjoyable second half. Should have scored 4 and could have been 5.

In Zohore we now have a player who gets us out of our seats when he has the ball. Not seen since the likes of Bellamy and Bothroyd.

A subs bench with 5 internationals, Murphy, Lambert, Manga, Pilks and Declan (cough). Not had that for a while.

Still have Ralls, Pelts and Connolly to return. And youngsters like Meite and Harris getting time on the bench. Hope we don't get injuries from internationals next week.

Things looking a lot more positive. <ok>

Enjoyed that, especially the second half.

Main men at the back and the front, Bamba and Zohore made all the difference but I fear Whitts is going to struggle in the future in a Warnock side. He got more involved in the second half as we took control but the game in the first half passed him by - maybe rusty but he looked a bit lost.

Kadeem did everything but score - he looks a real threat on the ball and should be signed up on a new contract asap.

Hoilett playing up with Zohore looks a great combo and he surely must start hitting the net soon - I'd make sure he's signed up for next year as well.

As Bluey said, the bench looked good and that was without Ralls, Connolly, Peltier and Healy - all good stuff yesterday.

From what I'm seeing, reading and hearing, it starts to become clearer why Colin thinks he only needs 3-4 players.

3-4 to be shown the door and possibly 4-5 in. Cover for Zohore (don't expect someone as good, but better than what we have on the bench at the moment). A bit more grunt needed in the centre in the park if we're moving to a 442 / 4411.

The interesting bit will be to see how many of our loaned out players that are not out of contract actually come back. Did Colin want them to get some game time so he could run the rule over them or are their days done? I'm sure several were out to let them run their contracts down (LaFondre) but how about Huws and Kennedy? Did they just need some game time or won't they make it? It's a cheaper option than buying.

Not sure where this 'news / views' comes from, but there would need to be a hefty wage reduction to make it work. We could probably lose a CB if Connelly and Peltier stay as both can cover FB and CB (good to have on the bench).
