I'm not a great fan of Sacko myself, but in his defence, I read an article about the benefit he brings the team. Basically, he has pace, which scares opposition teams shiitless. If he stays up the park, 2 players have to be available to cover him, just in case, and tends to prevent the FB overlapping. Equally, when he tracks back - and he does - he's bloody fast getting back. Now if only he could cross at the right time, or forget about going past that extra man, or God forbid, score!, then he would be superb. And we couldn't afford him. Therein lies the rub! I still like Dallas in the team. He works & works at defending, and can hold the ball up well. Add to the fact that he can attack & score, it makes sense to play him, especially away. He's more of a LM than a winger & has real value in the team's shape & tactics. Again, if he was any better, he'd be playing for someone else.
In that case its a shame Dallas isnt any better. Would be the second out of the door after silvestri for me.
At least sacko and roofe take a man on now and again. Dallas is industrious but when played as a winger you need pace and an ability to take a man on and go past him to get a cross in. Dallas is ****e where it matters. If he was a fullback then industry wou ld be fine.... But he cant ****ing tackle. He just slows the opposition player up, Glories motivational post works again....
No comment till I get my expensive ticket. I've had to work three saturdays running for the eighty quud for that overpriced yoke
