I read an article that said the injury has almost fully healed and he has been working hard over the summer trying to regain muscle strength. Or something along those lines. It had quotes from him and although he wouldn't put a date on his return he said he was working hard through the summer and was pleased with the progress he is making. So hopefully he will be back for the new season or soon after. (I'm talking about Walcott!)
Great news about Walcott, he was a huge miss for us last season and the potential link up play with Sanchez is mouth watering.
Seems Diaby will have a scan for a hip injury already. Poor guy must have the most extensive knowledge of human anatomy of any player ever.
Omg.. If only he could stay injury free for even half a season he'd be such an asset lol Might convince wenger he definitely needs another physical cm. What's the source for the diaby injury?
Wenger on the injuries... Diaby was not in the squad, he is just going out to practice, but is not injured. Zelalem has no problem, I could just put 22 on the list. Wenger 1-ITKs 0
I thought I'd resurrect this old thread as the injuries are piling up again. If we can make it 'til January still up there with City I think we can win the league. Making it through the next 4-6 weeks with all these injuries will be crucial.
At least Wenger has been practicing his beach football skills so he should be ready to play... And we won't concede many from set pieces with steve bould at the back
Normally the international break comes at the wrong time for us. This time round however a break is exactly what we need plus Oxo, Ramsey and Bellerin all look set to return for the West Brom match.
Apparently Welbeck is doing double gym sessions each day in order to come back faster for Arsenal, though still looks like it'll be sometime in the New Year - http://www.espn.co.uk/football/arse...rsenal-double-day-training-difficult-recovery Also apparently Ramsey won't make the Norwich game but instead has been put back to the WBA game at the end of the month, the same as Theo EDIT: I mean of course won't make the WBA game but will make the Norwich game!!!
I really hope that is true as that would be excellent news. Surprising news though. And this site is usually very reliable - http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php#c1
