We're very good ( and rightly so ) at slating the current and past gafa on this website. After all, that's the point in a forum!

So what would your starting 11 be?

    Bart

    Emmanell / Webster / Berra / Knudsen

    Skuse / Bishop

    Ward / Williams / Lawrence

    McGoldrick

    Subs -

    Gerken / Digby / (until tommy back ) Kenlock / Douglas / Pitman / Varney / Dozzell

For me, Bru isn't good enough and Best certainly hasn't been his namesake thus far......

I like the system westy, but don't think McG can do the job to lead the line, he'll spend too much time dropping deep and won't stretch defenders enough.

I'll go for something a little different, simply because of the personnel available (otherwise 4231 would definitely be the way to go)

    Bart

    Emmanuel | Webster | Smith | Knudsen

    Williams | Skuse | Bishop

    McG | Varney | Lawrence

I'm in the mindset of playing players/systems dependant on who we are playing - I don't like playing the same team and system week in week out as teams get used to how we play.
If we had the personnel for it, I like the wing back system, with three centre halves, and two quick wing backs (but unfortunately we don't have the wing backs for that)
Based on what we have, and if all players were fit and played to their potential/best, then I'd go..

    Bart (obvious)
    Smith, Chambers, Webster
    Emmanuel, Knudsen
    Ward, Skuse, Hyam, Lawrence
    Best/Pitman (one half each)

Don't rate didz at all, highly overrated imo!
Can't believe you all have Knudsen, he is absolute gash!

Unfortunately didz is a luxury, one we rarely can afford.
as for Knudsen, I agree he's not that great, but I don't think kenlock is quite up to it, like Emmanuel is.

In a situation where our first team player isn't very good idea rather we played a youngster. The same goes for chambers at RB

I think McGoldrick is a good player but he's not a team player, he's quite static as a forward and doesn't get into the best positions, he rarely ventures into the box and as a deeper forward he's quite selfish on the ball but to be fair it's seems like Mick instructs our technically gifted player to play like that!!
