Perhaps once upon a time, Roofie, but not now. Surely, not? You'd be better off with someone like Eddie Howe at your club. A much better manager. If Eddie had been at Arsenal these past 7 or 8 season, they'd have won the title at least three times. Fact.
Too much **** in your eyes? I've already answered it. Nice one Skiddy, owned yourself as usual. Next time tell your boys to give you a heads up before you troll..good job its not a thread I started. I would have ****ed you till you needed a cuddle.
Am late, but to answer the original question in the OP. No, if Wenger had been our manager we would not have been as successful. We certainly wouldn't have won 2005 and 2006's PL titles, and we DEFINITELY wouldn't have become Champions of Europe under Wenger. Can you see a wenger side playing like we did against Bayern in that final? We'd have lost 3-0
You two mincers need to sharpen up Pastebucket you're too easy everybody's ripping your arses to shreds don't you have no shame?
I think Chelsea and United are the only two sides that can actually claim that they wouldn't have been as successful. Everyone else is telling themselves porkies.
That's a debateable one no doubt...for me the difference is the money that City have liberally spashed around .... they have acheived a "quick fix" in some regards - certainy at the expense of bringing through younger players - which is more how I see Wenger (and admire him for)...
And we haven't? I know we were a little higher than City, and were winning trophies occassionally, and getting in to the CL, when Roman came, but still, when was the last time an academy player came through at Chelsea and cemented a proper first XI role in our squad? John Terry!
Yeah I suppose if thats the scenario, it is just us and United then. But thats only because Chelsea and United have won 9 of the last 12 PL titles between us. To be honest I think we will make it 10/13 this season, then United will make it 11/14 next season
This weekend's fixtures could be telling ... Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all got "certainties" .... United should have too much for the erratic Stoke. City are now 14/1 or so for the title against Spurs who are half that ... yet if City beat Spurs they will both be on the same points ... and City are favourites to win the game with most bookies .... City Spurs game is set up to be a cracker .... will therefore end 0-0
