A definite plus for PNE if he does sign as expected maclad. It's positive news on the back of a pretty traumatic season. Lets hope the positivity keeps rolling in <ok>

    Afternoon Maclad..<ok>

Yes if he signs it will be a very good start to the PNE annual fire and bring and buy sale.

Does look like Lonners will be leaving, and probably a good thing for himself and the club, time is right for a change for him as he needs a new challenge and fresh start.

Turner has done well since his arrival and deserves a chance of regular football. I hope the deal can be done..<ok>

And what about Lonners? Wolves and West Brom were interested but I've heard nothing since

Everyone seems fairly confident that the signing will go through, and as you comment it would be a good bit of business. Did well for us during his time with us last season so fingers crossed no one else steps in.

Maybe just talk to put pressure on Lonners and PNE to complete a move, but you never know and if they were to sign Turner and Lonners goes to Everton we need a new keeper..<laugh><laugh><laugh>

A national paper is reporting that your goodselves, Leeds, Hull City and Sheff Utd are all interested. My guess is that if Lonergan goes sooner rather than later, PNE should tie up a deal.

We're in desperate need of a keeper along with Leeds, but we have at least one coming in next week (who's expected to be number 1), so I can't imagine Turner coming to Hull to sit on the bench.

Leeds are apparently chasing Jerzy Dudek and Chris Kirkland, so a move for Iain Turner would be a huge come down by their 'big club' standards <laugh>

Sadly, if you constantly dilly about you usually miss the boat. Might be a cliché but nevertheless true. Should have tied up the deal long time ago.
