I booked this holiday when phelan was in charge, I was confident we'd be well down by now. FFS
The lads going and taking his mate who's never been to a game before so maybe a new convert.

No Dawson for me, legs have gone. Elmo back in at rb. He played well in the last two home games. I'd drop Hudd and go with Clucas and N'diaye in cm .dont think Marco will though. That'll mean moving Clucas into the hole and Niasse on his own. Not a fan of that.

    The Jak

    Elmo ranoccia Maguire Robertson

    Markovic N'diaye Clucas growshitski

    Niasse. Hernandez

City win this 2-0 or 3-1.

Harry and the Frog at the back, centre. No one else. Our previous preferred pair are presently pants.

Right back has to be the petulant Egyptian. Or Dave on a mobility scooter if allowable.

    Get Hudd in for me.

One of the Liverpool Ben Arfa or the Polish Ian Butler. Not both.

Abel up front. The lad from Everton shouldn't even have a locker.

    Watford.

I drive past the ****hole on my way down south each week.

It's also the home of Harry Potter world.

We're at home, and have a good spell of protection up it seems.

I can't see us needing an alohomora spell to unlock their defence, we seem pretty solid at home.

They've done quite well recently, and will be expecting this to be an easy 3 points.

They don't know what they've got coming. I can feel it in me waters.

Tomorrow my friends, is the Day of the Mauling.

Yep, tomorrow is, finally, 4-0 day.

Nailed on. Get some tiger claws ready for some aggressive mauling of the air.

    You Ull.

Bit nervy about the game tomorrow actually.. now its in our own hands im not sure how the lads will handle the pressure.

It's hard to enjoy football at the moment with so much at stake. Im hoping we win tomorrow obviously but also for the Swans to lose... 5 points clear with games to play... lovely.

Time to enjoy our position. We're not chasing, we're defending a position.

Don't agree that Dawson is past it; just needs minutes more. Curtis will have another great day for us this season.

Back 4 is confusing; some said Maguire wasn't a RB against Stoke and I would agree he was a poor substitute for one, but he cwrtainly looked to be playing that position.

Don't play Hudds. Great player but he pulls our dynamic to ****e.

Two up front, as always, but sadly ...

... oh, Maloney, give him a decent cameo.

I don't agree about Hudds. I think under Silva he improves our dynamic of moving the ball quickly and retention of the ball. Important when you're playing the style of football Silva wants. Possession football further up the pitch.

keep davies and dawson from the pitch

get elmo and robertson as wing backs, they've done it many times

i think n'diaye needs clucas to operate. but get evandro in there aswell who imho we have missed

    ------------------jak
    elmo maguire rannocia robertson

    ---------- n'diaye clucas
    ------------- evandro
    ----markovic hernandez niasse

for me evandro is the key to our play, he will operate both defensively and offensively, attacking watford quickly
while supporting n'diaye and clucas in keeping a solid shape in the 25 yard range, i feel he is more fluid than tom

watford play a very quick front line, and keep minimal ball retention towards the attacking box,

This is a must win game, no doubt it. I personally don't think Watford or Sunderland will be the pushovers we hope for.

Damn our hopelessly wretched away form. Stoke away was a really massive missed opportunity. Swansea will get more points before this season ends and they do have the players to put a couple of results together.

How do we use Elmo and Robertson as wing backs in a back 4?

because evandro makes it a static 3 midfield operating in the 25 yard range of our own box but most of our attacks will come from robbo and elmo as they always do

swansea WILL beat stoke tomo 100%
it's down to us. if we don't win we tomorrow are back in the relegation zone.. this fight is going down to last game of the season.. we are going down unfortunately
sunderland will pick up another 9 points and i can see them picking 3 points against us
our safety is literally hinging on watford, sunderland and spurs..
southampton and palace games are pointless

needs a miracle for us to stay up

That's a bit extreme, think Swansea will lose.

I think we must go 4-4-2, we need to revert back to a proper RB, even if he is not the best, Rannochia and Harry CB partnership and Hernandez Niasse partnership up front, anything else would be hitting the self destruct button imo. I would also start with Hudd and N'Diyae although I understand I may not that be that popular with that opinion.

    I would go....

    Jak
    Elmo Rann Harry Robbo

    Markovic N'Diyae Hudd Grow

    Hernandez Niasse

I am going for the reverse of that score which was the result the last time I attended this fixture back in Nov 1965. We finished champions that season.
