I just hope we don't regret that injury time goal Swansea scored yesterday. Goal difference could be vital.
He also started the move off on the near side if you actually watch it. He set the 2 goals up, without Hernandez, there is no 2 goal Niasse!! The same with the Liverpool match, without Hernandez challenging the keeper, N'Diyae doesn't score the first.
Agreed. That one two with Niasse for the first was brilliant. Just watching it again now. Superb ball from Abel, with his wrong foot under pressure, perfectly weighted for Niasse. Great goal.
That's my opinion, this is an opinions board, I respect yours so please do not hit me with your patronising armchair fan/management bullshit!!
I haven't watched the highlights yet, but dying to watch that ball again, from what I remember it was sublime, as you said.
I think next week will be a better game, more like the games we played v Chelski, Arse, Utd & the scousers. I have a feeling their attacking attitude will benefit our games.
Hilarious from the NOT606 Swansea board. Underlined my personal favourite comment! I assume this was the 50/50 which Hernandez went up for that he was PERFECTLY entitled to go for. Smacks of sore loser syndrome to me.
If Palace are safe when we face them we will likely already be down. Palace are our main rival for safety.
Indeed. The positive is that Palace have (on paper) a hellish set of fixtures from now on in, including having to play all of the top 6 teams. Our game against them may well be crucial.
Remember our 'hellish run of fixtures' when we were tipped to not get a point that turned into our best patch of form for the whole season?
Richard Sutcliffe@RSootyYPSport Pleased for Niasse, a decent fella who delivered on promise to come back to speak to Press after doing man of match duties - most sneak off!
They'll be crying even more now... Angel Rangel: Swansea defender will miss rest of season with foot injury http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39253014
Just had a trawl through some of the Swansea forum's, gave up after 10mins couldn't stop laughing at some of the comments, what a set of wet blankets you'd think they been involved in a game that resemble Celtics 1967 infamous "battle of the river plate" (older fans will known what I mean 6 players sent off) bloody hell its a so called contact sport, to say we targeted certain Swansea players is a load of rubbish, I really though they (Swansea fan's) were made of stronger stuff.
All the more strange is they have come from the lower leagues even more recently than us. Surely they are used to some 'full bloodied' challenges and a bit of rough and tumble, yet they talk like entitled Premier League gentry Arsenal wannabes.
It doesn't happen very often but when it does you can guarantee we'll be involved in it.... Off the top of my head, the season we stayed up in the Championship at the expense of Leeds was just about decided the week before the final game because we had a better GD of 8 or 9 or something.
