Considering we lost Naughton before the game even started and then lost Rangel earlyish in the game , then lost our go to striker that we've counted on since our "rivival " began , what did everone expect ? . Clement will get a chance retool the team with those left standing this week . Bit hard to revamp a " Quality ' line up we've gone to game after game as players drop like flies , half way through a game ... on the road .

I have to disagree as I was there to see the way our players were barged or kicked with ref Marriner taking little or no action. Llorente had been on the end of some rough treatment from the start & Huddlestone did put his knee deliberately into Llorente's thigh which put him out of the game. There was a really nasty challenge on Fabianski, a scything late tackle on Jack Cork & of course the disgusting foul through the back of Olsson which left him hobbling badly & will probably mean he'll be missing next Saturday.

Hull knew what they were doing but were allowed to get away with it by a weak ref, saying all that we still had the best chances & should have done better but our finishing was poor & we paid the price.

Give over. Stick to knitting if you found it too upsetting.

Played you 3 times this season and beaten you every time. I suggest he takes up knitting whilst watching you lot - probably more interesting.

Hull is the City of Culture and it was refreshing to see a preview of Swan Lake at the KCOM on Saturday. The performances of some of the Swansea players was better suited to ballet than football. Fair challenges being given as fouls was the order of the day and the dying swan SigurĂ°sson was only matched by Leroy Fer a player who has a bright career ahead of him in pantomine after he hangs his boots up. He by the way cost you the match. Not the ref.
Huddlestone did dead leg Llorente, but he only had eyes on the ball and it was an accidental clash. No one likes to see any player get a serious injury and Angel Rangel was unlucky, but it was not a dirty tackle that did for him. Olsson was brave and his save was fantastic, but keepers get walloped all of the time and it is a position that they put themselves in.

See the Hull contingent are coming to their sides defence which I suppose is understandable but if that is what they consider fair play then they must have mistakenly thought they were watching their rugby league side from the night before...and what was all that about with rugby being played on that pitch only hours before a premier league game...certainly made trying to play decent football very difficult.

No Hull City supporter will argue with you about the merits of playing an RL game the night before. There is nothing we can do about it and it made life as difficult for us as you. The game was not a dirty game by any standards. Swansea had a lot of 50/50 shouts go their way. If the pitch is poor, you will see far more poor tackles per game from both sides. Was there anything wrong with the goals we scored? The lame attempt by Fer to elbow our breaking player, opened up the opportunity for us to score. Watch it back and then call us dirty. He lacked the pace to catch a player with the ball and used his elbow, he got away with it as the play moved on, but it did not stop him running down the pitch with his arm in the air claiming offside. Now thats dirty.

Let's be honest, the worst affected area of the pitch was the middle third and Swansea bypassed by going long for most of the game.

It would appear Hull have become the new Stoke under Silva. Lost a lot of respect for them after Saturday. 3 injuries, a weak ref and a typical Routledge performance beat us Saturday.

I thought Routledge was your best player on the day after Marriner.

The problem with Hull supporters is they have nothing else to compare their " Mauling " type of play to , so they think it's the only way to play and can't understand why no one else plays that way . I generally feel sorry for what they have to watch game in and game out .

Marco Silva said yesterday that for Hull , it's " Impossible to Play After Rugby " , kind of ironic that Clement could say the same thing and it has nothing to do with the pitch ...LOL
