Match Day Thread Hull City v Southampton Sunday Nov. 6 14:15

This is only temporary untill SaintinSerbia produces the genuine thread, once he's done that a mod can merge this with it making his the main thread. I'm not going to put any info on here about team selection or officials i'm only goinig to make my prediction of a Saints 2-0 victory.

If this in any way puts at risk the Saints result a mod can lock it, I in no way accept responsibility for any bad vibes this thread may produce due to breaking the match thread golden rule.

How good are Hull at the moment?

Well they did beat Bristol City 2-1 in the League Cup but then again they did lose to Bournemouth
6 -1 and Waford 1-0 in the Premiership.

Referee? Does it matter when we can beat Inter and the Polish bloke promoting man hugging?

As Hull have only won twice in the last 40 years I might suggest we will win this one. Against Saints that is, not ever! Any win will do but 0-3 sounds good. Any scorer will do but would rather like JayRod to get one.

 

Look at yesterday's line-up - really nice looking squad & partially rested bench. You can see CP drafting in all the bench (apart Lewis) or using to some degree.
Regardless of what he does & I've got no issues with whatever he chooses, it's a great time to be a Saint.

Come on Saints, let's finish this period, before the int break, strong with a good win.

Travelled up to Cambridge today to stay with Saints fans. Going to see Show of Hands this evening. Off to stay in Beverley tomorrow for two nights in fine hostelry, with a short bus ride to Hull on Sunday. Back to Cambridge for some fine dining on Monday, travelling home on Tuesday via the Wine Society Warehouse in Stevenage. COYR. Heaven.

 

Surely Fonte will play after being 'rested' against Inter.

 

Fonte will play on Sunday. Four or five changes again, and that will suit us.

No Gardos in the u23 squad for tonights game. First match in a while he hasn't featured. I wonder if he'll be put on the bench for this one.
