I noticed a local coach parked in front of players entrance.
Has the manager changed our pre game build up?
Meeting off site and travelling in together?

    Yep all travel together now.

Headphones are optional but Man-bag accessory absolutely compulsory.

Last 5 years? People around Hull have called the team 'city' for as long as I can remember.

What a load of nonsense, we've always been City (at least as long as I've been around) and Hull is a rugby league team.

Obviously we have always been city but the point I'm making is i identify with Hull and not the city part as about 100 other clubs in england call themselves city. I always call us hull as being from hull is what I identify with not the word city. Can't really see how you can criticise that?

It's alright calling us Hull when you're not in Hull, but locally we're City and Hull refers to one of our rugby teams.

There's no where near that amount of teams using the name City.

It's not as common as you may think.

Yeah I don't give a **** about rugby though? I don't even recognise it as a sport. Just twats running into one another and getting too close to each other in the showers.

    Oh statistics !

Correct 25% in the PL (currently :emoticon-0100-smile)
Approx 13% across all 4 divisions.
Approx 7% including top 3 NL leagues
Approx 0.012 % including all professional and amateur teams in England and Wales

No I made an exaggeration to make a point. If you think that I was making an assertion your the idiot.

The fact is 25% of the league we play in the teams have City in the name. I struggle to identify with that as our defining feature and therefore call us Hull. I again don't care about rugby. But care about Hull.

Why you get your panties in a twist about calling the football club hull is beyond me. Are you scared of the Ruggers lads?

If you don't 'get' the City bit then you don't get it.

It's quite a lot though considering? We are playing a team called city every other week?

Already stated that you can shove your tigers etc and that we are hull city. I just never call us City without the hull. Don't try and twist it and real what I have written.

<laugh> If you want to go round telling people you support Hull, then go right ahead, I don't care if people think you're a rugby fan.

I can't believe we're doing this again - ''are we off to City on Saturday'', ''who are City playing next'', ''didn't City play well'' ...... I can't imagine any situation where I would believe anyone substituting Hull for City in my three examples is actually a City supporter?
