Good to hear from Abel. Bruce always seemed to say that he never found the language easy so good to see him talking, albeit in slightly broken English. That said, there's been the likes of Tevez who just never seemed bothered to speak English.
Colour the Truth in any Sugar Candy coated contradiction You Want. How do You feel about Everyone on here knowing It's the truth thou.?
if thats what you want to believe, Im not gonna try and convince you any different cos, quite frankly, youre not worth it.
Just as an experiment has anyone ever tied a footballer's arms to his sides and observed if they can still speak. Kinnell, fifteen years ago I'd have got a research grant to test that out. Not now though. Bleedin' education cutz.
I was in the lounge when he came through to get his MOTM champers, he handled the interview from this Viking Radio guy quite well, even though I thought the guy was a bit of a prat speaking too fast. Abel was great with all the kids afterwards getting pictures and selfies with them.
Just seen BBC's team of the week. Garth Crooks logic: Carroll - 1 goal, team of the week. Hernandez - 2 goals, nowhere.
You could do **** all all game and then score a 40yd volley, doesn't mean the other 89 minutes were any good.
He was interviewed last season when he won MotM in a game, but he spoke very broken English and had a translator with him.
I have to admit when I get it wrong. I wanted Rowett as manager, and was unsure on Silva (Not because he is foreign!). However, what I have seen so far is what I have asked for for the past couple of years. We pressed them so high up, didn't give them anytime on the ball and tried to win the ball quite high up the pitch. Every time we got the ball in the second half we tried to pass the ball with a bit of pace. There are so many positives to take from this. Silva looked to be getting his 'ideas' across and we played in such a different way to the rest of the season. If we can get 2/3 players in that Silva wants I think we will be safe. Mason looks a completely different player. I know it's early days but when he has time on the ball he looks up and looks to beat a man before passing the ball, we have been crying out for this for years. Huddlestone looks rejuvenated. The biggest positive is Hernandez. If we can keep him fit he is such an asset. He gives Huddlestone options to play balls beyond the defence which in turn gives players like Mason and Snodgrass space. I know its early days but I really like what Silva is trying to do with the club. I just hope we don't make all these changes and he buggers off after six months. If we can get a right back and a right winger (Diomande was dire) I think we will look a very good team.
