It's very well supported on YouTube, I've just caught up over a pint of Caffrey and a large Jamieson. I would have loved to have been at the dock. Enjoy, Den.

Nice one Hugs I heard on the night of Part 2 that they were thinking about a double header (oo err) but I didn't know it had been confirmed
There is so much good about Hull's CoC that it's hard to know where to start. I've lived up in Washington for over 25 years and I would so like Sunderland to win it, as my Grandkids would be at a good age to enjoy parts of it, the rest of us as much as we could get in. I frequently get my iPad out and show the S'land lads and lasses some of the stuff going on and they are all the sort of folk who would thoroughly enjoy it, although I do believe it's an hard one to top - they are also the folk who echo my thoughts on Seb, but hey ho! We have the Tall Ships next year, it is brilliant and I'm taking leave to get the bairns there; quality events, quality time with family and friends, can't beat it!
It is really brilliant, can't believe how good actually I got invited to the start / launch of the fourth season but sadly I'm already tied up Tall Ships is good though. I went up to South Shields to see them a few years ago Enjoy the quality time
Sounds interesting ... ONE DAY, MAYBE CREATED BY DREAMTHINKSPEAKCOMMISSIONED BY HULL 2017 Deep within a hidden office complex in the city centre, a mysterious new Korean technology company is about to change the way we view the world. Inspired by the Korean May 1980 Democratic Uprising, ONE DAY, MAYBE conjures a kaleidoscopic dreamscape where live performance, installation and pioneering technology combine to create a vividly dystopian vision of a world spinning thrillingly out of control. 1 Sep - 1 Oct 2017 Hull City Centre £10 - £18.50
I didn't know anything about this. It seems it's a free, non-ticketed event in West Park this weekend. I'll be there! https://www.hull2017.co.uk/whatson/events/epicycle/
Impressive. You could pick up a reception from alpha centauri with that aerial. I like a SAC AE054 myself... please log in to view this image
Went to Epicycle in West Park last night. Very good turnout. It was cancelled at literally the moment it was supposed to start due to rain. Understandable in that it is a very dangerous event but at the point it was cancelled it was barely spitting whereas it had been raining solidly for quite a while beforehand. I feel they probably could have put out earlier warning so some people didn't sit in the rain for two hours waiting and I didn't pay bridge toll to get there. Oh well, I'll try again tonight. There'll probably be a very big crowd there tonight as those who went last night may try again.

They made some incredibly difficult stuff look easy. But it was all a bit too weird! Maybe I'm not cultured enough? Saturday night was a bit of a **** up. Should have made the decision say an hour before the start, not leave it to the last minute with people travelling distance to be there (me included). Having seen what was involved last night, it was clear there was no way it was going ahead Saturday. Great though that stuff like this is here this year.
This years shortlist seems to be lacking the provocation of previous Turner Prize's, I wanted controversy when we hold it, where are the new YBA's?
