Probably too much competition from the CoC2017 events.

Though apparently this was to be its third year and I'd never heard of it.

    Hull Libraries‏ @hull_libraries
We have been successful in our bid for £243,783 to the 'Libraries Opportunities for Everyone Innovation Fund' to create a Makerspace.

I've no idea what a Makerspace is, but I'm assuming this is better than not getting £244k for one.

As some suggested, the fence is indeed due to the new fountains, they're running final test on them today.

Walked past at lunchtime. I noticed there's a little bunker type thing hidden under the ground just near where the fountains are. Very cool looking. It's literally just a bit of the ground flaps open and there's this room down there with people in. Like something out of a secret agent film.

Went down yesterday on the bus to do Ferens and Maritime museum, was surprised how busy both venue were. Very impressed with Ferens, not all galleries open, but what I saw was excellent.

Nice to see the model of the Lord Nelson, I saw that vessel come through the lock pit after her maiden voyage.

Went along this morning and yes I saw the poppy display but I can't help thinking that Vicoria Square looks bare minus the blade, still, hopefully other stuff will just be as talked about, see Beverley is getting in on the act, Destination Beverley.

Ta, quite pleased with the result as I used my new phone, which I finished setting up and updating only yesterday, don't tell anyone but I am a Windows phone user, City have scored more goals than people who have a Windows phone lol.

Miss the blade, but actually think it now makes Queen Vic centre look bigger

Just think of the size of the camera and lens, and the expense of it, which would have been required not that long ago to produce a picture of that quality.

I also use a Canon 350D which I have had for years and still produces good stuff, but I only lug it around now and again but I do like to use my Canon at times, my Windows phones have always seemed to produce decent stuff, though most of my family stuff is with the Canon.
