So on the west bank of the river? Guess if they need a dock, they cant just create them out of nothing, but both banks either side of the new bridge could do with some sprucing up. This area is very close to present footfall around the old town (museum quarters) and fairly adjacent to the Fruit market/ marina (cultural quarters)

Yesterday morning I wandered round town while waiting for bank to open, it's looking cooking stunning, trinity pools the whole thing
I chatted with one of the workers on Beverly gate (which is starting to look **** hot btw) and asked when it'd be done, he said how longs a peice of string.
It looks nearly done though so don't know if he was being a bit of a drama queen

Also noticed while walking round cenner a large amount of rough sleepers, there really needs to be more help with accommodation as well as making things pretty for tourists

"Cenner"? I've never heard that to refer to the town centre in my life.

Genuinely never heard it, it was always 100% "town". The only cenner reference I have ever heard was for Bransholme.

I've also never had fish with skin on, which I remember made people question my Ull credentials.

Yeah. Cenner is short for Branny Cenner. Never heard it used for town.

    Maybe its a West/East thing.

I'd never heard of Rerd being Holderness Road until about 10 years ago.

Yeah your right it is used for branny, and I'm not even from there, my bad I blame the hangover

But the real point of that post was the amount of homeless in hull that need help

Just to clarify, neither am I.

On the homeless front, there's a fair bit in Leeds but I was shocked when I last went to Manchester- it's on a whole different level. Awful to see.

£8 per person does sound a bit high, even though you can use it all day and hop on and off when and wherever you like.

Yeah but it runs "Thursdays to Mondays",. That's a long tour, and for only £8.

Make it a Duck Tour (amphibious) with a bit in the river past the Deep to the Marina.

That's bollox DBT. I watched the Duff 2007. Just wonder if he hadn't have ducked at that Holderness Rd bridge, what would have happened in terms of Tiggers outcome? What was his insurance? Same day Deano was pissed up trotting along City Hall balcony wall!
