True but if we still have the loonies running the club it may be hard saying that may be the making of a few accademy playets if they aint sold off.Millwall are winning matches with a great team spiritc wil to win recipe for success and of course a club legend as manager
http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/20140605-nick-pope-contract-extension-1611918.aspx yes he will. queue imminent release of henderson. good keeper, but pope has more potential and just gets on with it.
Rumour seems to be that something has gone on with Henderson. I reckon that he spoke out the week of the Huddersfield and Hull debacle and has been given the red card. I feel sorry for him as he seem to have some passion for the club, unlike the majority of the s*** that we have seen try to play football on a Saturday.
Do 3 people actually seriously think we'll go straight back up? Look at what's happened to Solly now and please tell me why you think that the people running the club will keep us out of the bottom 4, never mind get in the top 2.
I did think up to the solly jacko stuff that wed be midtable next season now i thik relegation battle under this mob
Even if they sell after Burnley, the mess they've created, going to need about two seasons in League One (or more) before we get out of it. This stay is probably a long one guys...
The odds aren't out yet for relegation next season, I suppose the bookies are waiting for the L2 play-offs. We're 14/1 to win L1, and 9/2 for promotion- maybe the bookies expect Roland to sell up, maybe they're just being tight. They are more optimistic than us about how we'll do, so when the odds on relegation are announced, we should get decent odds. The bookies do get it wrong sometimes (Leicester).
Based on summer activity (aka 'asset stripping'), I can't see us finishing much above mid table. Soon we will yearn for the days when we had Pawel Abbot, Paul Hayes and Danny Green in our side.
I'll stick to my relegation forecast. The way Cousins' exit was treated by his former team-mates tells me that morale and team spirit are about as low as it gets. Add to that the toxic atmosphere at the Valley, and hopefully away games as well, I think we'll be easy meat.
100%. Finishing was a bit erratic - but thought he was the key in those opening games. MK away was the end of him as Yann changed the game and never looked back.
Reminds you how strong our squad really was! Players like Cort, Haynes (what a shame about his fitness), Hayes and Wagstaff could of all played and we wouldn't of been any weaker. Add in the shrewd loan signings like Russell, N'guessan and Ephraim. Powell done a great job that year.
Couldn't agree more - and also shows how good Slater/TJ were when they had the readies. Had they not fallen foul of Cash then we may be two divisions higher.
