I reckon 83 will do it.

If Chelsea W7 D3 L4, the leaders will finish on 83 points.

City would have to win 12 out of 14 to overhaul us. Without Gundogan that would be tough.

Maybe Arsenal can go on a winning run once they are out of Europe and pressure is off.

Spurs are struggling to win games even pre Europa.

Liverpool are in a funk, and United are too far behind to put pressure on us realistically.

    Stranger things have happened.
But at this stage it is looking likely we will be champions, unless we have a total deltmown.
At this stage, I would say its only Spurs who could realistically catch us, being only 9 points behind.
But as we have only dropped 13 points on our last 24 games, I cannot see us dropping more than 9 in our last 14.
And even then, Spurs would have to win ALL their remaining games.

As they say, till its mathematically impossible, dont count your chickens, but its looking very likely.

I guess that means HIAG will be starting "The Chelsea Spiral Thread" on the PL board soon :)

Right now, if we won all our remaining games, we would be on 101 points, which would smash the PL record set by us in 2005 of 95 points.

Think we can beat that this season @CFC: Champions of FFP ?

    Me either.
Good that we are able to at this stage though.

We conceded only 15 league goal that season too <laugh>
Already conceded more than that this season.

15 goals though, **** me! what an awesome defence we had!

    They've already got 59.

On their season to date run rate they should finish on 93 or 94, but title winners usually have a little wobble as the finish line looms, so I'd expect them to drop a few more points than their current run rate, so I reckon 88 / 89 will be where they finish.

No. To get 95 points we'd have to win 12 out of last 14, which is unlikely even with no Europe

Like Tobes says late 80s more likely....

If i was to be brutally honest i'd say we don't have a serious challenger this season.
    And 2 out of 3 ain't bad!!

I think the likes of City can cut the gap down a little and put pressure on us.

Arsenal usually play well after their annual last 16 CL exit

Someone may close the gap,but can't see a serious challenge.

Yes, maybe gap will go down to six or even three points at some stage, but we are strong favourites

It won't get lower than 6.

Nobody has the squad nor the consistency.

    The league is yours mate but your point about spurs is mistaken. Since losing to united in early December our league record is;
    WWWWWWDDW
I have not included our fa cup matches as they weren't against premier league teams.
