Yea. He never left because he got his pants in a twist 'coz some supporters were mean to him, that's ridiculous. Give the man a bit more credit.
Bu883r - I was just about to start looking through your twatter history!!! Looks like I'll have to buy my own meal then.
No, but when I - and by implication, other contributors on this forum were wrongly accused of being responsible for his absconding, I take issue with people besmirching my / our name with absolutely no foundation. In higher domains than a football forum, there'd be a libel case looming. TWAT!
I just let things like that wash over me. Bit like if I was called a naughty name I'd just ignore it. Rather than give a first and final warning to them, and only them.
Nail on head jobby here Jesus Christ, talk about a passionate and heart felt article! If you haven't done so, I really do urge all Canary fans to read this. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...club-will-soon-draw-to-a-gut-wrenching-close/
Not 100% sure I understand this? Either I've missed something or you're dealing in riddles? I've had the odd shudder at stuff I've read, but no 'first warnings' have come from moi. Feel free to explain, in a P.M. if necessary
Vital Norwich @VitalNorwich Been looking at Gunn's (widely considered disastrous) record - 6 wins from 20 league games in 2nd tier. Neil has 6 wins in 18.
Superb article Cromer and I was just about to look at MFW. I've posted a comment which should be on there soon under my pseudonym!!! Edit - Just read some of the comments on the article and it really is quite depressing - it's such a shame it has come to this. It certainly seems that quite a swathe of fans will not be renewing their STs - very sad!!!! Only 6 years ago, McNally 'fielded' the ball, I think he threw it to PL, we took a quick throw in and scored in the last few seconds to beat Reading!!!!
I've just read this and it's such a shame Delia and co don't get to read some of the comments and do something about it - "I have had a season ticket for over 45 years along with my brother we have tickets also with my son and grandson. We will not be renewing next season which is devastating for all of us as we love the club but unfortunately the present owners along with the board have already ruined any hope of being an established Premier football club we have been promoted to the premiership three times in the last decade and the same mistakes have been repeated time and time again." It just highlights how out of touch the board has become with the fans and an MFW article compared it to what's happened at Blackburn with the Venkys!!
Article from Craig Bailey on MFW, though I have to say that I'm much more in agreement with the one Supers did a couple of days ago.
Well, if we didn't know that AN has lost the plot, then this article confirms it - A'lex Neil is weighing up a loan move for Ben Godfrey if Norwich City’s injury crisis eases.. He is such a versatile player and rather than keep him at CR, he's contemplating sending him on loan.' “He showed playing his second game for the club at a Premier League club that it wouldn’t be an issue to play in that area. He is a talented lad and he can do a job in a number of positions. I don’t think centre midfield is his best position, which is why it was so pleasing to see him put in that performance. His discipline and ability to fill holes was pleasing but for me his best position is right centre back. That is where he has operated for the most part in the development side. That is where he will go on and have a career.” Fu;; article here - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/ben_godfrey_could_fly_the_nest_at_norwich_city_1_4856417
I see Mick McCarthy has now said he isn't going to walk away from his job, so I can imagine 1p5wich fans are REALLY pleased at that news - NOT!!!!
....... about as pleased as us NCFC fans are about the fact AN isn't going to walk away from his job !
