    Former Bristol Rovers boss takes sideswipe at Bristol City after Queens Park Rangers go down to defeat.

    Holloway disappointed with a lack of respect from home supporters

    Ian Holloway was not a happy man on Saturday evening.
    And why should he be? He had just watched his Queens Park Rangers side produce one of their worst displays of the season in going down 2-1 against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

    Not only that, but being a former Bristol Rovers man, he had to endure the usual taunts from the home faithful.
    And he had a few words to say about the City fans, and Ashton Gate in general afterwards.

    Did it hurt more to lose at Ashton Gate?
    "No, it didn't, not really, it's three points, however much you think it's all like that.
    "I've been doing this long enough now, not long enough to get respect, but who cares, I don't give a flying monkey's.
    "Don't make it to be something. Is it worse? Possibly, but that's my ego.
    "I'm proud of where I come from and my record will stand for me when I'm in a wooden box.

    "This is a wonderful ground, well done, finish that other end, that's still crap, everything else well done to them, well done today, it takes class to survive in football and I think I've got that."
    And he had a word of warning for the City fans when it comes to future meetings between the two clubs.
    "While I'm still kicking, watch out."

    I copied this from his local press, no local (Bristol) imput, he is still a low life as far as I'm concerned, typical "gashead".....No Class.

    I've deliberately highlighted and underlined the idiot's jibes..

    don't think he"ll be there much longer, and when he does get the sack, I"ll have a fiver some idiot (no names mentioned) comes on here saying he should be the next manager at city.

    There was one song that used the "C" word that was not good - however the rest of it was the usual banter

    He's just disappointed they lost - in fact were awful and are not safe (so perhaps he's trying to divert attention)

    Let's hope he's like this after the next game between us

    I've always liked Ollie and find him witty and funny most of the time, but his remarks stink of sour grapes. He has obviously lost his sense of humour.

    Watched his interview on QPR player. This result hurt him big time and he blamed it on them playing poorly rather than giving us credit for shutting down their game.

    On their board, their fans are blaming Ollie for 'experimenting' with their side rather than playing their strongest 11.
    If so, let's hope his complacency drags his team into the mire.
    I have no gripe with QPR or their fans but I hate it when clubs think they should always beat the likes of us.

    I think he thought they were safe, and is looking for the future and the summer window so wanted to see who was who and whether to keep them ...it has backfired, like THE CHINESE getting rid of the photogenic Gary and replacing with ZOLA behind his back mind you!

    The Atyeo is a let down compared to the rest of the ground but it's hardly "crap". Until we can regularly fill the other 3 sides and buy up the remaining houses behind it, nothing will change.

    I personally like Ollie. He is the village idiot Andis good entertainment value. Can't knock his achievement at Blackpool but elsewhere has been underwhelming.

    saw him an episode of footballs funniest moments yesterday rambling on about a hard fought win being like going out on the pull , and sometimes there being only ugly birds so you just had to make do - rambled on in that vein for about 5 mins, then realised what he had just said, apoligised to" his good lady wife", absolutely priceless.

    To be fair the Ateyo does need bringing up to the other stands,then Ashton Gate will be top notch.
    I agree with what he says,regards that comment.

    The Atyeo might still be crap but it's nicer than anything at Loftus or the Mem! I think the sags have one stand newer than the Atyeo, but that's more of a cricket pavilion than a football stand.
