Worth pointing out that Rangers were actually the test case here. "Sir" David Murray is currently getting his balls kicked all around the High Court by Donald Findlay QC in relation to his sale of a toxic asset. The EBTs have been discussed once again. Rangers won on appeal which was then overturned. The case is still live after 5 years of investigation so I doubt we'll see anything happen here for a while. That said, HMRC have taken a different stance on this investigation and are going after PAYE and NICS fraud which would be far easier to prove. It's like Al Capone all over again maybe....?

Gotta feel for the poor old Geordies though. Just as they begin a summer of celebration, this happens. It's hardly the fans' fault their chairman is a scumbag.

In the case of West Ham, it clearly is the fans fault they are owned by a pair of sleazy spivs.
