Lads, I am going to be taking a long rest from the Prem board.

Certain elements are kicking off yet again with the usual hidden agenda bollocks and I cannot be bothered with it any more.

I am posting here, because I don't want to post it on the Prem board. The mere fact of my posting a "withdrawal" notice on the Prem board, in itself, sparks the usual kind of diatribe idiocy that I want to avoid.

I post it here so that those of you who know me here will know (a) that I am taking a sabbatical from the Prem board, and (b) that it's for reasons of my being thorough sick to death of that board and the fact that it has been overrun by humourless cretins.

Note to PNP - it might me an idea to close this thread by the end of today, as I don't want to leave any avenue open for discussion on the subject. People can PM me if they feel the need to.

 

Is that why you posted this vanity project then rather than just simply upping sticks and leaving?

The Prem board used to be a cool place to hang out. The idiots have ruined it.

You might think I am one of the idiots, except for the fact that I have been posting on it for around the last 5 years.

But even if I am one of the people who has ruined it, my taking a step away from it will bring it back to how it used to be 5 years ago.

You might want to close this thread, as I have absolutely no intention of this thread being used as a vehicle for certain posters to use it as an excuse to post their usual "Prem board" crap, especially when I have made it clear that I want to step away from that particular board.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not enjoy the repetitive bickering. Sure, it was probably fun for a few people when it was just Pixie and myself having our banterful spat, but too many moronic elements have latched on to it, and I am sick and tired of being made out to be the pantomime villain.

I'm not throwing my toys out of the pram, or anything like that, I just want some peace and quiet away from all the bollocks that now continually gets blown around the Prem board.

I thought that is what everyone wanted?
