HIAG

Guys - just to let you all know that HIAG has been banned from the site. It is due to a lot of the bullshit that goes on with the Premier League board.
Sequence of events is that the poster most of you will know as the Chelsea mod Bodinki (he's recently changed his name) complained about the usual Piskie/HIAG nonsense to site mod BRB. BRB clearly doesn't like HIAG and laid the law down in a way that HIAG wasn't ready to accept and posted a I'm leaving thread. BRB took him at his word and banned him. Possibly temporarily, possibly not. He also banned Saintsfan08 because he's "sure" they are the same poster.
So if you're wondering where HIAG is, he's gone for now at least.

 

Actually brb called out 8 posters and warned them all to keep their **** to 1 thread and to behave on other threads.

Hiag moaned, then had a strop and stated he would WUM every thread, and then started a "I'm off" thread where he made it clear he wanted to go

brb even gave him second chance that Hiag declined

 

Saints banned too?

Hiag should have stuck around....I thought ultimately he would be glad that he can't be chased around multiple threads anymore and all he would have to do is to avoid the allocated thread. If he still felt targeted he could have taken Brb up on it.

 

I'd forgotten there were so many dimwits on here because I spend my time on the Spurs board which is happily largely free from such stuff.

Exactly what does it take to get banned?

 

It really does depend. Any sort of spam, porn or the like will do it.
Other than that, you generally have to get banned from your own board or repeatedly cross various lines.

 

That depends on who is doing the banning.

My comment is serious. Remember each board has it's own moderators who make their own rules. You need to accustom your self with each boards rules if you use them. Unless of course you have a reasonable level of intelligence and do not get a buzz from insulting others, in which case you should be safe wherever you are unless brb has an off day.

 

I believe you, I wasn't mocking your comment Spurf. Old HIAG didn't bother me.

 

I didn't believe you were D.G.C. I just thought my comment was a little flippant and needed explanation especially as it could be interpreted as being in conflict with PNP's which it certainly was not.

One of the good things about the Spurs board is that us 3 moderators have never seriously disagreed once, that I remember. Except about me being the best looking.

Off topic but whatever happened to Ensil?

 

Who cares? He NEVER posted anything football or Spurs related. All he seemed to do was insult and correct grammatical errors in other posters

He ended up that way but for a while was a decent enough poster. I remember him being banned but kept making new profiles. No chance that Ensil and HIAG are 1 and the same?

 

I don't think so: Ensil lives in Finland and his usernames were Finland related i.e. Lumikoira on the old BBC 606 which is a Finnish breed of dog: Ensil,I can't remember the full spelling means excellence in Finnish I believe.

 

If Ensil is back in another guise then he is welcome because we do not have any Spurs posters who are a pain atm. Our board has settled down and attracted posters who enjoy discussion and even disagreement but do not have to resort to personal insults.
The Spurs moderators have very little to do.
