NW wants to have a look at him. If anyone can assess whether he's got a chance at a higher level, NW can.

    Pity he's cup tied.

Maybe he is our Jamie Vardy.

He's scored goals at every level he's played, must be worth a shout.

Is that official or just the recent speculation over Warnock's falling out with Westley?

I read it somewhere Sparks, can't remember where.

Warnock said he want's to have a good look at him to see if he can help score the goals we need, If I read it right Healey is due back 1st Jan.

Warnock also said that Cardiff would help Newport out with loan players if needed.

    OS,

Read it in today's ICWales on line.

Also read last week somewhere that he's got his January targets all lined up & ready to sign 1st January. Ready for the Villa maybe<confused>

Now that Bellamy is on board, it would be worth Healey spending some time with the 1st team squad and Bellamy in particular. He might be able to polish a diamond in the rough.

As for other strikers we have, there are some things that can't be polished.

I thought I read an interview with Westley where he said Healey would be heading back to Cardiff.

I read something like that except that I thought Westley said he expects Healey to be recalled.

I think it was more to do with the spat between him and Warnock over Westley allowing Healey to talk to the media over the Plymouth approach for him.

Yes, Westley was unhappy about him publicly discussing moving on to Plymouth on loan. While he has had some success with Newport I don't think he has it for the Championship. He is certainly no Jamie Vardy equivalent. Vardy's greatest asset always was his pace. Healey does not have that nor a physical presence. He has an eye for goal but does not have the quality we need. He will go out on loan again in January.
