At the risk of sounding really stupid and the response being 'the clue is in the name', what the actual **** is a cheese egg?

David Haye is set for a hearing with the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBBofC) following his recent comments on upcoming opponent Tony Bellew.

Ahead of their London showdown on Saturday, Haye threatened to "hospitalise" Bellew in what will be a heavyweight debut for 'The Bomber'.

"I'm looking at putting a combination together where he is unconscious but his brain hasn't told his legs to fall down and I'm still hitting him while he's upright," Haye said in an interview with the Telegraph.

The graphic nature of Haye's intentions, coupled with his desire to see a fellow professional forced into a hospital bed, has resulted in an investigation into the remarks.

It's not a farce if people want to watch it. That's what professional fighting is about - setting up contests that people want to see. End of. I'll be watching it.

Bit off topic but watched 'The Guv'nor' last week, the film about Lenny McLean.

His son claimed that his old man would have battered anyone in or out of the ring including Mike Tyson.

Behave yourself son, Lenny was undoubtedly one unbelievably hard man but I think Tyson in his prime would have destroyed him on the cobbles or in a licensed bout.

    Just my opinion.

Totally agree far too open with no guard at all. He'd be picked off at will by any trained boxer.

This pretty much sums it up. Bert Cooper was a good scrapper, but some way short of Mike Tyson's quality, yet he makes this muppet look like a big fat baby without really taking it seriously.

Yes, but the question is - how long would they have lasted on Queens car park?

Kimbo Slice had a huge reputation as being a hard man in bare knuckle fighting.. the moment he entered a ring with a trained athlete he was ****ed.. Street fighting and fighting under rules be it queensberry or mma are totally different
