All holidays that don't involve a caravan in Clacton with the dragon and saucepans, are essentially gay.

I've been. Went to Oahu and Maui, both were superb. Oahu is very busy and Waikiki beach got packed in the middle of the day and again in the afternoon when locals would come down to surf. Cheeseburgers in Paradise and Dukes on the beach, the aquarium, USS Missouri & the monument in Pearl Harbour. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Maui is more laid back, not as populated and greener. Bike tour down the volcano (went past Magnum PI's house), Harley ride on the twisty road to Hana please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Pineapples with every meal, some of the best coffee (Kona) I've ever had and genuine Hawaiian shirts. There is an activity sport to cater for anyone if you feel energetic or you can spend the whole time on a sun lounger in the middle of a tropical paradise. I'd recommend a decent Luau (traditional native entertainment, lots of grass skirts and things on fire) with roast pig but avoid the poi which tasted awful and had the consistency of baby sick.
