You was screaming that you wanted him sacked so why the love in now? Are you a complete loon, or just forget which one you wanted out each year! Also you don't think it had anything to do with the row with the fan caught on camera?
SC did a fantastic job, went wrong sadly, gave us a fantastic double. He had too go,but LJ was not the correct appointment though. As the league clearly shows.
I had an interesting chat with a club employee who insinuated it may not have just been LJ, but some of the players who allegedly wanted Pembo gone. His words were, watch how much the team will improve with him gone. Make of it what you will.
Right. I don't give a flying **** who the manager is. Whether it is LJ, SAF or Spongebob ****ing squarepants. I want us to win games and get to the premier league before I die. At the start of the season, I was quite happy. We seemed to be doing ok and beating Villa and Fulham were particularly sweet. LJ was good. Then, the wheels came off at Cardiff. From then on it was a steady decline and from the second Cardiff game that was it I wanted him gone. But he didn't go. After the longest run of defeats in our history he still stayed. Now we seem to have stopped the rot. It's too early to say we have turned it round but we are no longer losing games. That's got to be good, right? I may sound fickle, but given the past couple of results I do think firing LJ at this stage would not be a great move. In fact, it would probably be just as risky and stupid as sticking with LJ after 8 straight defeats. Sack him when he is on a losing streak, not when he is getting points.
Delivered silverware in league one, couldn't cut it in the championship though, would have gone down no question....LJ saved us and has the bottle to change things when things aren't right.....Yes, money was spent, but for how much we're talking, it's nothing in this league......Granted the season has been poor, but I believe there was more going on behind the scenes and now JP's gone we seem to be looking better...Weather right or wrong, makes a change to see a owner giving the manager a chance rather than sack him at the first sign of trouble..
Depends how long it was going on for (if true) I guess.....but if it was a long running problem then why did they wait so long to get shot of JP ?
He was on a massive losing streak,in-fact the worst in the clubs history, yet still kept his job. Yes he has stemmed the flow, but we are a long way from being safe as yet. This season has been a Disaster.
