    (2) Birmingham City have made a double bid for Bristol City pair Joe Bryan and Aden Flint, according to reports.

    Football Insider and the Daily Mail have run stories claiming that the Blues have bid in the region of £5m for the defensive pair – who have also attracted interest from Leeds United - while the Birmingham Mail understand that the offer has been made.

    ...Even for that, I'd be ok for Flint to go, but not Bryan.

    Imo... anything above £4m for Flint - sell, and do everything we can to keep Bryan.

    it is suicide to sell 2 let alone 1 of their stature to another Championship side... it likely puts a team with 1 or both in a better place than us... look at Leeds last season, almost pulled off the playoffs position, and if you look at the their last part of the season and compare to rest of it could have almost sneaked a auto spot!

    For all those that have taken a swipe at JB we will be a lot poorer if he departs - look at the Luke Ayling scenario.
    If this was a month ago maybe it could make sense as we had time to get replacements in and gelled, but not 4 days before the season kicks off and certainly not for £5m for the pair.
    I think Flinty, Wright and Baker with JB and the new lad as wing backs would be an avenue worth exploring?
