I'm happy about it. I was more cheekily questioning why we aren't playing him (more) if he is worth an extension.

 

Surely he's been given some sort of assurances that he will be at some point for him to sign up? I see him as the ideal Romeu substitute, and indeed, in the matches Romeu hasn't played, it's been Reed at the base. I'd like to see him play Sunday.

 

Reed and Hesketh could play if needed, but (Hesketh especially) are more for next season and thereafter. You don't just sign for the here and now.*

Fantastic news, I really rate Reed, think he deserves more chances than he has had. He was better than Clasie and JWP in his appearances for the first team.
