Unless a source close to the Swans' management has travelled thousands of miles to give you some inside info whilst visiting you at the Rocky Mountain Home For The Terminally Pathetic I wouldn't bother. <ok>

    ....lol.

Look, Roof, I'm not sure what I've done to upset you but you are taking every opportunity to have a go at me. I really don't know why. Your 'contributions' say a lot more about you than me so think about what you are doing, pal. We are all Swans fans and you seem to be going out of your way to provoke and goad me for some reason.

There is nothing controversial or insulting in this thread, and others have said they appreciate me posting it up. Only you seem to have taken exception, whereas others - even Dai - have taken it for what it is.

Cut it out please as you are making the forum a pretty unpleasant experience at the moment. <ok>

Roof you are goading Kifflom into a reaction for no reason at all.

He had some info and shared it with us.

What's your problem with this? It seems personal too me so pack it in now please.

Don't want to have to ask again.

Good news this if true. I believe it too, definitely that they've had a boost since Guidolin leaving. Heard that the players were bored of his training techniques and Taylor and Ki's outbursts said as much. Not condoning them though.

Can't see why this is worth arguing over or attempting to argue over. I'm sure this story isn't something we couldn't conceive. Seems logical.

    1. It was common knowledge That training was not good but that should not make a player play badly as he can do his own training at any time. We were poor because the Manager was poor with the way he instructed the game to be played and team selection against whoever we were playing.....team talks and tactics play a big part and it seems that side of thing was not brilliant...

So much of the OP is bull.
Had to come back for those comments.
That said, most foreign coaches concentrate on playing styles, tactics and individuals' skill sets - believing fitness and conditioning coaches are responsible for that side things. Laudrup was the same. Being able to run marathons was Monk's thing and that didn't work because no matter how fit you are unless you can control your game you will lose out. Even marathon runners blow out if they break their patterns or try to respond to others.
Rodger's (who was never criticised over fitness) said it was important to control the game and own the ball so players could use those moments to recover.

Interesting....perhaps you can enlighten us as to why me simply passing something on I've heard is 'bull'. You've heard of 'don't shoot the messenger', right?

Have you posted this on the wrong thread? I've never mentioned training methods other than the fact Guidolin liked a lie-in and a fag. It was Dai who specifically mentioned training and he's NOT the OP, I am. If you have a specific gripe, spit it out.

Rodgers has been our top coach in terms of how he viewed and delivered a fitness/conditioning regime. His drills and conditioning techniques were outstanding and I'm fairly sure we had very few injuries when he was in charge.

Last season is exactly that, last season. This season we've been piss poor.

Curtis was also in charge for a good chunk of those points.

True. Guidolin deserved a crack at it - no complaints from me - but it couldn't go on. Whether anyone thinks this is a 'quality rumour' or not, well I couldn't give a ****. We now know he was a smoker and we've always known his English wasn't great. Not knocking him for that but they are pretty much established facts. Seems like some people just want to have a go for the sake of it.

I've also heard indirectly from someone (again through my son) who was involved in treating Baston the other day - he was fit to play at the Emirates. In my view he should have started.
