    Is there not a FIFA ruling that governments cannot interfere in a country's Football Association? I'm sure I've seen FIFA sanctions against countries where this has happened!

    Question is very clear and perfectly easy to understand Dave, just not very many answers coming in ;) CanĀ“t honestly see how the government can possibly have any more expertise at running a Football Association, than the FA themselves (not that they particularly cover themselves with glory either) but I do understand the point they are making about the Sam Allardyce reign. <doh>
