Oh dear, think a bit of arrogance and naivety have let him down there. Struggling to think who might be next.
What did he actually say? ive heard everyone on the radio today say "he shouldn't have said that" but no-ones actually come out with what it actually was.
The Telegraph story http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ation-england-manager-sam-allardyce-for-sale/ The FA's most high profile employee offers to explain how to break the FA's rules to complete strangers, sorry Ed but can't agree that's a set up. In his position he shouldn't have been doing that.
Further revelations in the coming days apparently http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ier-league-managers-took-transfer-bungs-clai/
I don't. Feathering his own nest when already the highest paid manager in England's history. Caught red handed and should disappear in shame. maybe some truth in earlier claims when at Bolton of taking bribes.
I'm going to be genuinely surprised if this is the case. NP has always come across as a man of principle and integrity, I'd not envisage him having any time for shenanigans of that nature. Many criticisms can be levelled at Nige but I just can't imagine him giving the time of day to anyone trying to engage in bribery etc. NP has major bust up with player/owner/journalist I can 100% see. The rumours I've seen allege a row with the owners & Nige having to be restrained, which are totally believable. Really hope the Telegraph stories do not involve anyone ever associated with our club.
I agree, he was also so cagey even with Leicester based media and although his faults we to do with temperament, I think he is a bright enough guy and sensible enough to not be involved in that
I imagine Nige holding agents in greater contempt than journalists tbh so I'm struggling to see him sat down having a pint 'a la Sam' with one. Derby have also suspended another of the coaching staff. Thought I'd see if there were any insights on the sheep board, the last posting was April
It's a great shame that he's blaming everybody but himself. He should accept when he's been beaten and hold his hands up.
Barnsley have sacked Tommy Wright after allegations of taking cash. Eric Black, at Southampton also named, as is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Our old friends at QPR will be in meltdown, I was looking on the championship board last week as I was off to see Fulham last weekend & had a quick look on the QPR board to see if they were all alive as they don't appear to visit us anymore They weren't happy campers last week & Jimmy didn't seem popular then. They'll be in a frenzy now. It is a sad state of affairs all round though.
The agent naming Premier League managers now says he was lying. Turning in to a full scale shambles. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37524416
Shakespeare has left his post as well - least he can concentrate on us I suppose. http://www.leicester.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=463221
Odd one really, would have thought Southgate would have liked the opinion of a premier league winning coach, oh well, back to scraping through qualifying and being embarrassed at the world cup i guess
