    I got a bonus at work for surviving here 5 years.

    Granted, it was only $40, which got whittled down to less than $20 after taxes, and various other fees came out of it (bonuses seem to get taxed much more aggressively than regular pay cheque).

    Still, can buy over a dozen doughnuts from duck doughnuts with that. Also got a little pin with company name on it that I'll probably never wear, but it's a.nice gesture anyway.

    After 20 years with Royal Mail, I got a plaque thingy, and a **** watch the bezel of which fell out after a month. I got made redundant a year later.

    The redundancy was the good news btw.
