You've been a pretend vegetarian for 4 weeks ffs, clearly for appearance sake. 4 weeks of uninformed patronising preaching to your school/uni friends I would imagine. Come back to us in 20 years with a mature outlook on the ethical side of vegetarianism and stop making yourself look like a tit to the grownups. Just saying.
Actually... My original comment was tongue in cheek (I'd had a few). Only been vegetarian for 4 weeks but have been with my veggie wife for 20 years. Therefore it was a straight forward switch as a lot of my meals were vegetarian anyway. I'm actually enjoying my food a lot more now, so there must have been more subconscious guilt than I'd even considered. Looks like you had me pegged.

Had Papas Willerby for the first time yesterday. Fair enough it's bloody cheap, but I thought it was also bang average. Not a patch on Frydays for me.
I was just comparing the two Papas. Willerby to me is better than the Bilton one. Not been to Frydays for yonks.
Fair enough. I'd expected summat special though after hearing so many positive comments both here and in real life, and it just wasn't. I'm sticking with Cott Frydays (admittedly at nearly twice the price)
Funnily enough I said to Mrs Plastic that it reminded me of fish and chips when I used to live in London. It just wasn't like we're used to up here.
I found that the fish was fresh and still had a taste of the sea to it. The chip were just chips. But for the money and the fact that it was 6pm on a Sunday, I was happy and more than pleased with the price. Very small haddock and chips down here is over £8 takeaway and I mean very small. Odd thing is that they all get their fish from Hull.
