    Seems like only yesterday that we were the cream of Europe, what a night, such great memories.

    Unfortunately it has been a very long time since that great night on 25 May 2005, did you know that once Alonso plays his final game only Milan Baros will be playing from the 2005 Champions League winning side.

    Liverpool: Dudek, Finnan (Hamann 46), Traore, Hyypia, Carragher, Riise, Gerrard, Luis Garcia, Alonso, Kewell (Smicer 23), Baros (Cisse 85).
    Subs Not Used: Carson, Josemi, Nunez, Biscan.

    AC Milan: Dida, Cafu, Maldini, Stam, Nesta, Gattuso (Rui Costa 112), Seedorf (Serginho 86), Pirlo, Kaka, Shevchenko, Crespo (Tomasson 85).

    He has to be pretty old now (for a footballer), I'm almost certainly wrong, and I could Google it if I cared, but I thought he was a couple of years older than Gerrard.
