    When will they ever grow up?

    My guess is never - it seems some people honestly can't grasp reality at it's harshest and so look to fairy tales to give them comfort.

    Once you die, you're dead - there is no Heaven or Hell, simply nothing.

    They can't manage their lives properly in terms of knowing what their morals are so have to copy theirs from laughable ancient text.

    I suggest 'The Life of Brian' as a movie to watch tonight.

    for that reason, i'd say i'm agnostic...i don't believe in a god or an afterlife, but i can neither confirm or deny the existence of gods/an afterlife!

    each to their own... whatever gets you through life

    I used to consider myself Agnostic but i'm probably full time aetheist now. As far as i'm concerned religion can be a great comfort to people in times of worry, I don't see why anyone should have a problem with that way of thinking.

    How can I prove the non-existance of something I don't believe exists?

    If I believe it was never there, how could I produce proof of something that was never there?

    To be honest, this thread was a little childish as it was a response to this attack from earlier... http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/93122-Atheists ...but there we are.
