Andy Hessenthaler was the oldest player to have pulled on a Gillingham shirt, but what age were he when he pulled onto the pitch for the last time as a player, also what team was it against and what the score was.
Please can you include the date, Year, month, His age exact please try even if you don’t know, Just guess, You know he was old then when he played his last game and can You also include the team we played against that day and what was the score. I remember the day really well and know the correct answer and I have it in a book.

Remember even if you don’t know the question and even if you think you don’t have hardly a clue just take a guess you may be right. I will always prove the question the next day by providing the correct answer. Have fun people.

Andy Hesenthaler came on in the 78th minute to replace Andrew Crofts in the 3 - 0 home win against Port vale, he was 40 years old.
The match was on the 10th December 2005 with a 15.00 kick off and a attendance of 6210.
Goal scorers Neil Harris, Matt Jarvis x 2.

Amazing mate thanks for taking part you are completely correct, The information I knew is the following

His last season in the Gillingham team was in 2005–06 season which I believe he made 17 appearances in the league; the last one was in the 3–0 home win against Port Vale on 10 December 2005. He was forty years and four months of age, which therefore had him the oldest player to have played for the club and long lives the legend.
