BBC Radio Bristol confirms that reports that City are considering the future of LJ are inaccurate. RR reading Daily Mail and claiming he has a 'source' as per
They ought to be.. Ridiculous state of affairs.. the man is robbing a living off us, he is clueless and couldn't inspire or lead a cub pack.
I'm with gdknac on this one because I think we are going down with Lee at the helm only to reappear with the same captain on the good ship League One. Still, isn't it a nice thought that the smug Lansdown will pop up his head prior to the season and tell all and sundry that he has faith in the short one and is looking forward to a cracking season in his rebuilding programme. When is the movie coming out?]]
Galatasaray is what I read. It's part of a deal to bring their goalie to Chelsea. I read this somewhere a few months back.
City head coach Lee Johnson met with the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship encounter with Wolves at Ashton Gate (3pm kick-off). Here’s what he had to say… - Johnson says refund offer from the players "shows they care" - Head coach adds: "The important thing now is the pay [the fans] back further on Saturday against Wolves." - Players were shown a "video nasty" from Preston yesterday - Johnson says there are "good recent memories" of performances against Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town - Johnson admits media speculation is natural after a big defeat but says focus is on Wolves - He adds: "We have to dig in. We're not in the relegation zone and it's in our hands." - Johnson talks of "inbuilt determination", adding: "I've never felt that I'm not up for the fight." - City boss says "home truths get told...but it doesn't mean we don't love or trust them." - Johnson says it is a "natural instinct" to look at team changes, but says he will pick an XI "committed to the badge" Read more at http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/...n-pre-wolves-3661134.aspx#buzFjRbuKReeBFJE.99 Well, that's ok then- Also, tomorrow LJ is also up for Manager of the month against 3 others-(This was for March)
Think the EFL are having a laugh two of your players nominated for player of the month also your manager is one of the four nominees for manager of the month
We aren't a ****ing joke, we have a great stadium and we are playing in the 4th most popular football league in Europe Yes we could be doing better and perhaps Lj is a mistake but let's not overreact. We were all much more positive after Huddersfield
Yeah, but normal service has been resumed again now and in spectacularly bad fashion. The owner, manager and players are a total disgrace.
I think it was the deckchairs they were rearranging not the lifeboats Mike, and the orchestra played on. Little point now in the Carpathia in the shape of a new manager heading your way - you'll have to keep your heads above water on your own. The thing to remember is that when that particular collosus went down there was no way back up - for a football club there's always next year. As hard as that might be to stomach after such a great start to this season, it's part of this game and the powerbase that controls it - and by that I don't mean the fans. The owners and their appointed staff have control and therein lies the problem. We've experienced it recently across here and have learned a lot about ourselves - hopefully our owner has done also. I wonder when yours will admit that throwing money in preference to expertise at a problem is like pissing against the wind.
Not all. An individual does not suddenly become the right man after a fortuitous ninety minutes. An overreaction would be getting giddy after one performance of two halves in months. The situation on and off the pitch is unhealthy. Farcical (a joke).
Lansdown has a lot to answer. The guy has lost his marbles, would he have kept such a incompetent fund manager at Hargraves -Lansdown. Off course not.
I have been thinking perhaps SL sees relegation as a quick way to get rid of the rubbish that LJ has signed. They will all want to move and have release clauses if we go down. Keeping LJ is a way of almost guaranteeing relegation. The money saved on wages would probably offset the tv money and then we start again with a new manager. Or, is SL just completely bonkers?
