I don't like the Tory party. But both main parties are too extreme.

Conservatives is austerity and labour is bankrupt.

Surely there has to be a middle ground.

You also have to take into account Gordon Brown selling off the gold at the wrong time in an economic cycle and also the increase of structural debt, really since 2001 when they abandoned the Conservative spending plan. After that the debt rose, even in good times until 2008 when all hell broke loose and we have been trying to bail ourselves out ever since
