Prison Break was back on US TV networks last night, anybody got any idea where I can find that ****, instead of waiting 'til October for it to air here?
Google it and stream it through your TV? There's a website called watch tv series online or something. I actually really enjoyed it, really pleased it's back.
Bloody tourist vultures taking selfies where those poor guys were mown down by that bastard! Ooh look at me! This is me standing where that guy was killed!
Starting to get that summertime feeling, might crack out the bbq this weekend if the blind soothsayers who predict the weather are right for once. Always good when the clocks go forward and the evenings get longer and warmer.
Let's say about half one for some scran and footy. Might have to bring your own beers though I've only got G&Ts here.
I've just seen some news about Bradley on the BBC. Don't want to start a new thread on it. Just awful awful news bless him.
Well, D-day looms. I have just been told that there is a company meeting a week come Friday where the boss will reveal his plans for the company. According to my source (my supervisor) we will have only 1 elec engineer and 1 mech engineer. We only have 1 elec as it is as the other fella left a few weeks back. Currently we have 4 mech engineers including my supervisor so it will be any 3 from 4. Obviously as he is in charge and to be fair to him is pretty good, i would say he is the one staying especially as he has been told he is safe lol. Anyway it looks like i am going to be bladdered and then expected to work my notice period. The boss says that we will have to work on for 3 months due to how long we have been employed by the company which is 13 years but i have a written contract that states that i am on a one months notice period. Hope that i don't have to do 3 months notice!! Just going to check online now to see if he can make us work the 3 months. To be honest as well lads i will be very happy to get out of this place as its been a **** place to work for the last few months and i have been hanging on to get my redundancy
Well I hope it all pans out for Crumble. I don't see how they can make you work longer than what's in your contract. So tell them to take a hike and get a months sick note for stress
Cheers Burley, i don't think the owner knows that i have a contract as it was written out all that time ago by the then engineering director. Gonna be a bit of a shock when i wave it under his tight fisted jock ****ed nose
