THis furore come in the same week that News of the World journalist "Fake Sheik"'s victims are sueing Aussie/American tax-dodger Murdoch for up to £800m. Co-incidence?I think not! What better way to divert attention away from the Dirty Digger's misdeeds, including an investigation into his relationship with the Met, than a storm over the hated Beeb!

Oh dear - the standard retort of the unreconstructed hard Left - blame Murdoch <cheers>

Reminds me of a current Labour MP who I once debated the Iraq war with - when I asked her who was really to blame if not Blair, she paused and replied....."Thatcher"

Bob Maxwell?? The bouncing Czeck? You can do better than that! He's a bogeyman of Labour as well. Or Arthur Scargill, who sued his own union to try and keep his flat in the Barbican (and lost:emoticon-0140-rofl:), you need a bogeyman who is admired by us lefties<monster>.

The Liverpool retort is funny. He copped a whole lot of flack. If you give it, you take it. The majority who tweeted him are grown men.

His twitter is his private account. If he sat there on Motd and got in to it then I'd sympathise with your stance. Working for the BBC shouldn't mean you are devoid of sharing an opinion - as touched on earlier, that's a pretty north Korea way of approaching it.

It is always nice to be lectured on morality by a guy who's first marriage ended after he left his wife for his kids's young au pair.

And someone alleged to have taken out super-injunctions to prevent other stories tarnishing his media brand

    Join the dots

Squalid private life ...Hacked Off....anti newspapers ....owe the Left ...crap about refugees

In the interests of balance, the BBC should let Nigel Farage present Songs of Praise.

Donald wants a quick trade agreement with the UK :) prior to any agreement with the EU... which is academic as the EU seems unable to negotiate trade agreements anyway

The Jug Eared moron is at it again today - this time fulminating at the "Right Wing Press" zzzz who have gone after the High Court judges and their decision.

Given the amount of time that Lineker spends attacking the tabloids - although not as much as he spends rubbing gel in his hair and pulling 18 year old birds <whistle> - any one would think he has something to hide from the red top press ?
