yeah but hey... i did say it was the crucial game. Utd pulled out a 2-0 v bruenly after 120mins v anderlecht and two bad injuries
Yeah. I'd prefer cty to beat em to stop the momentum early. Think city should sow 3rd up anyway so I'll take my chances with a cl playoff
This is what we should be aiming for. A large experienced enough squad that can deal with extra matches, injuries and suspensions. With our squad, the conspiracy theorists amongst us can make a good case for our manager deliberately going out of the Cups early in order not to tire or risk our thin squad. I just cannot believe this. City will know that a draw will suffice for them. But of course they'll go for a win. I wonder whether Mourinho being Mourinho will park the bus using the fact (excuse) that his squad is depleted and he has to play many more important games in the next few weeks. I predict a draw, which will suit both teams.
I would say personally mourinho wil try to make it physical more than totally negative... looking for a 1-0
Things are getting desperate when you start to rely on other results. Spurs for an example is not going to lose when they are in winning position.
Manchester City: Crystal Palace H, Leicester H, West Brom H Watford A Liverpool: Southampton H West Ham A, Middlesbrough H Manchester United:, Arsenal A, Tottenham A, Southampton A Crystal Palace H. Arsenal: Manchester United H,Southampton A Stoke A, Sunderland H Everton H In our own hands.
Slim chance of CL qualification kept alive this afternoon. Coutie being injured isn't going to help though.
Is someone going to tell dribs finally that he has been missing games for city and utd off his lists all this time
not quite but it will be very close I just can see mourinho giving up in a fit of pique... but only if they win well this thursday
When Mourinho is forced to accept something he doesn't like he always tries to ruin someone's career Who will it be this time?
United aren't going to go to Arsenal and Spurs and pick up 6 points, they'll be fortunate to come away with 2. Even if they win the other 3 (which they won't imo), that only gives them a maximum of 76. If you win on Sunday you'd need a point at WHU and to beat an already relegated Boro at home on the last day.
