    Les Reed went to Europe,
    PS, so will we.
If we beat that plastic lot,
    In that game at Wembley.

    Zlatan heads to Rooney,
    Rooney gathers pace.
    But Romeu is a looney,
And leaves egg on his face.

    Oriol, a pass to Pierre,
    Everyone thinks SHOOT.
But Hojbjerg just connects with air,
    As Fellaini clipped his boot.

James young ma, your time is now,
Your free kicks are quite canny.
But whilst we all expect a 'pow',
He dinks it up to Manny.

    Manny is the new guy,
But he is quite some player.
    90th minute, eye to eye,
He slots it past De Gea.

    Les Reed went to Europe
    to sign a new recruit
    but bought a scruffy bugger
    who didn't own a suit.

I think we ought to pull the stops out and go for something a bit Italian operatic. Saints supporters have long been known as some of the most tuneful sets of supporters, so why don't we have something to the tune of O Sole Mio [the tune to 'Just One Cornetto' to those who don't know].? Notice that 'Oh Gabbiadini' hits the same marks as O Sole Mio. Obvious tune. Now write the song.

Or even to the National Anthem "Il Canto degli Italiani". One of my favourite moments of International games.

    Fratelli di Gabbiadini....

Come on you know we can do it :)

As an aside, my Italian mother was born with Italy as World Champions (in 1934) and died with them as World Champions ( in 2007 :emoticon-0101-sadsm )

..My brother was born in 1966. I think he doesn't want England to win the World Cup again....

    We could do worse than:

    Ma-no-lo, wooah-oh
    Gabbiadini, woah-oh-oh-oh

To the tune of Volare. Italian, at least!

Wonder what happens with Chazza now we have Gabbiadini. That's a big old selection headache when both fit!
