Hey guys and welcome to the official thread for the Fulhamish Fantasy Football League 2013/14. I will post updates in this thread periodically. For now this should should provide an outline of how the league will operate this year. Please note that the code for the league is no longer public. If you wish to join (and you can join at any point in the season), please send me a PM. League So, quite simply, the best team over the course of the 2013/14 season will win the league. This is the third annual Fulhamish Fantasy Football League, so the winner will join RobespierreFFC and Captain Morgan in the annals of history. Cups I will be running cups throughout the season to give those who, like me, will quickly sink from title aspirations something to play for. I am currently planning three cups, in the tradition set by the Captain two years ago. I will post the rules for those cups when the cup begins; they will each have slightly different rules to keep things interesting. Title Odds Using a random number generator and scores from previous seasons, I have devised title odds for the coming season. Please do not be offended if your odds are longer, it likely reflects a down year last year (like mine). The odds are just for fun and to provide some talking points early on. So good luck to Robespierre, Cookie-6262 and Captain Morgan as everyone will be gunning for you. Even more good luck to N1ck and FFC_Madness who, like me, set a low bar last season which we will be eager to beat! Teams These are the competing teams (with title odds) and the corresponding forum account, as far as I currently know them: please log in to view this image Teams where I do not know the forum account will be excluded from the cups. Good luck for the season ahead guys. May your luck be Fulhamish!
Top job, Surly. Many thanks. And my Pieboys are thriving under the pressure of being joint favourite: 39pts so far this weekend, and that's without my two big money strikers. Bring it on!
I second that. Absolutely fantastic work Surly! This will add a bit of excitement and drama to the season.

Hey Surly, It could be worth contacting @Marathonbet_uk on twitter to see if they have a spare prize or 2 for the league and cup winners. Apparently they were giving away goodies on the coach trips yesterday. Some of the travelling fans said they were treated fantastically by Marathon and had a great day.
I've just noticed that Surlyc has given himself the longest odds of everyone. Does anyone else think this is all just part of an elaborate betting scam? He's just trying to make a killing when he storms to victory in May!
My Dad used to have a theory that the Irish ruby side in the 1970s played the Five Nations with exactly that kind of elaborate betting scam. We're onto you, Surlyc!

I'm useless at understanding odds but 8-1 should make me quite good shouldn't it? In which case the lads have let me down badly this week! Extra training for everyone before the weekend!
It was going so well, until City left Negredo - my Captain - on the bench and then brought him on after all the goals were scored. If they'd just left him out completely, van Persie would have doubled for me. Grrrr. Still a good week, but not nearly as good as it was looking. Then again, it's not a sprint, it's a shirt sponsor.
I haven't seen any footage or read any reports, beyond headlines... I didn't know about that! Need to go lie down in a dark room for a little bit now...
